On Tuesday, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked two Palestinian shepherds and forced them to leave grazing ground near Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, the Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said.

Hasan Mleihat, the Al-Baidar Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights coordinator, said the colonizers surrounded the two shepherds, Jamal Suleiman Mleihat and Ali Mohammad Mleihat, while herding their sheep, and forced them to leave.

He added that the paramilitary colonizers threatened to kill the shepherds and their livestock if they didn’t leave the area.

Hasan stated that the increasing number of illegal paramilitary colonizers in Jericho and the Northern Plains is causing a sharp escalation in the Israeli violations and is restricting the areas the shepherds can enter, especially since the colonizers continue to attempt to install more illegal outposts on stolen Palestinian lands.
