On Thursday, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinians and their property in the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that several illegal settlers invaded Bruqin town on Thursday night, set fire to citizens’ homes and vehicles, causing damage and injuring eight Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews treated eight citizens who sustained burns as a result of the fires.

Sources added that the colonizers, under the protection of the occupation army, stormed the Al-Buq’an area of Bruqin town, hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails at citizens’ homes, setting fire to at least five homes and five vehicles.

Ma’an News reported that soldiers opened fire with live rounds, tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens who attempted to confront the settler attack.

In related news, Israeli forces re-invaded Bruqin town on Thursday evening, just hours after withdrawing.

WAFA correspondent reported that a large army force re-invaded Bruqin town, just hours after withdrawing, stormed and searched several homes and abducted the child, Ayman Omar Sand.

Occupation forces conducted an extensive military incursion into the towns of Bruqin and Kafr Ad-Deek for nine consecutive days, which included the assassination of the young man, Nael Sami Abdul-Rahman Samara, 36.
