On Tuesday, illegal paramilitary colonizers invaded Palestinian orchards in the Ramin Meadow area, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, before cutting and uprooting dozens of olive trees.
Manar Zeidan said the colonizers invaded his olive orchard and the orchard of Sobhi Salman, in Ramin Medow, before cutting and uprooting dozens of olive trees and saplings.
Zeidan added that the area is subject to frequent assaults and violations by the colonizers, especially after they illegally occupied an area in the meadow and installed an outpost before fencing the area and bringing sheep and other livestock to graze.
In related news, the colonizers attacked a Palestinian woman, Wala’ Azem, while driving with her mother from Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, to Ramin, before forcing her and her mother out of the car and detaining them for more than an hour.
Also, fanatic illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded Susiya village, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank southern part, before attacking two international peace activists, and Palestinian shepherds.
On Monday, paramilitary Israeli colonizers detained three Palestinians in the Um Al-Jamal area in the Northern Plains of the Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank, before Israeli soldiers released two and abducted the third.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
