Israeli colonizers attacked, Tuesday, the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, resulting in injuries to a young man.
Osama Makhamra, a nonviolent activist against illegal Israeli colonialist activities, stated that colonizers, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, assaulted the home of Mohammad Nasser Nawaja’a, striking him with clubs and inflicting multiple bruises.
Makhamra added that Palestinian medics treated Nawaja’a for his wounds without the need to move him to a medical center.
The frequency of colonizers’ attacks against the Palestinians and their assets has escalated notably since October 7, resulting in many casualties, including fatalities, and dozens of injuries, in addition to the burning of homes, cars, and lands.
The arbitrary acts of violence by paramilitary colonizers against Palestinian residents and their possessions have faced international censure, but no real action.
Several nations have enacted sanctions targeting settlers implicated in violent offenses against Palestinians in the West Bank, however, the mechanisms and the type of measures remain to be seen, if any.
