Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers assaulted a Palestinian mother and her young daughter on Wednesday during an attack on the village of Burin, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, injuring both with bruises.
Local sources reported that a group of colonizers riding motorcycles approached the home of Bashir Qadous in southern Burin and violently beat his wife and child after attempting to break into the property.
The attackers also smashed several windows before residents rushed to defend the family. Witnesses said the colonizers fired live rounds toward the villagers as they fled the area.
In a separate incident the same day, colonizers attacked Palestinian vehicles in the Khalayel al‑Louz area, southeast of Bethlehem.
Media sources said the colonizers hurled stones at passing cars and carried out reckless “drifting” in the streets, causing damage but no reported injuries.
Earlier in the morning, groups of colonizers entered the areas of Hindaza, the water well, al‑Obeyyat, and Khalayel al‑Louz, conducting provocative tours and intimidating residents.
Earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian child in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, after groups of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the town, attacked residents, and stole sheep.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that the child, Yousef Ali Ka’abna, 16, was struck with live ammunition in the chest, sustaining life‑threatening wounds before succumbing to his injuries.
Human rights organizations have documented a sharp escalation in colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank, often carried out under the protection of Israeli soldiers, and aimed at pressuring Palestinian communities from their land.
