Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers injured a Palestinian man and an international peace activist on Wednesday evening after attacking residential structures in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron.

Activist Osama Makhmara stated that a group of armed colonizers hurled stones at the home of Mohammad al‑Jabarin in the eastern part of Shu’ab al‑Batem.

Makhamra added that the colonizers injured al‑Jabarin’s son Fadi and an international activist and caused property damage to the home.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces stormed the southern area of Hebron, deployed across several roads, and surrounded Palestinian homes.

The soldiers also detained several Palestinians, subjected them to harassment while interrogating them, and later released them.

Also, Israeli colonizers assaulted a Palestinian mother and her young daughter on Wednesday during an attack on the village of Burin, south of Nablus, injuring both with bruises.

In related news, Israeli colonizers invaded several areas southeast of Bethlehem, carrying out provocations against Palestinian residents under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian child in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, after groups of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the town, attacked residents, and stole sheep.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that the child, Yousef Ali Ka’abna, 16, was struck with live ammunition in the chest, sustaining life‑threatening wounds before succumbing to his injuries.

n related news, Israeli colonizers attacked the Tibna Bedouin community near Khan al‑Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday, assaulting residents under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Also, colonizers attacked the town of Sinjil and the nearby village of Jaljulia, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part, assaulting Palestinian shepherds and stealing their livestock.

Before dawn Wednesday, thousands of Israeli colonizers, accompanied by large numbers of occupation soldiers and government officials, invaded the Joseph’s Tomb area east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

These attacks come amid a broader escalation of colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank, where armed colonizer groups, often accompanied by Israeli officials and protected by the army, continue to target Palestinian communities with increasing frequency.


All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.

Articles 53 and 147, prohibit the destruction of civilian property and classify pillage as a war crime.
