On Saturday evening, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian cars on the main road between al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, and Salfit in the central West Bank.

Media sources said two children, Mustafa and his brother Ali Mansour Oweis, were wounded in the face and head after the colonizers hurled stones at their family’s car as it traveled along the road.

Palestinian medics rushed to the scene, treated the injured siblings, and transferred them to Yasser Arafat Hospital in Salfit.

In related news, several Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian woman who was herding her family’s sheep near Kafr Malek village, northeast of Ramallah, before local residents intercepted the assailants and forced them to leave the area.

Attacks by Israeli colonizers have sharply escalated across the occupied West Bank over the past year, particularly along roads connecting Nablus, Ramallah, and Salfit. These assaults frequently occur under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, who often accompany colonizer groups or remain stationed nearby without intervening.

The al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya–Salfit road has witnessed repeated incidents of stone‑throwing, vehicle ambushes, and assaults targeting Palestinian families, farmers, and shepherds.

Human rights organizations have documented a pattern in which colonizer attacks are followed by military invasions, road closures, or abductions, creating a climate of fear for residents traveling between northern and central West Bank districts.
