At dawn Thursday, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers set fire to a mosque in the village of Douma, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that a number of settlers stormed the village of Douma at dawn Thursday, setting fire to and vandalizing the “Mohammad Fayyad” mosque.
Local Palestinians were able to extinguish the fire before it spread, and the damage was contained to its entrance. The settlers also scrawled racist phrases on its exterior walls.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night a group of colonizers stormed the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, and set fire to a warehouse before soldiers invaded.
According to Nader Sayel, the secretary of the Einabus village council, reported that settlers from the illegal “Yitzhar” colony stormed the village and set fire to a warehouse owned by the village council, the fire was extinguished.
Later occupation forces invaded the village and broke into the family homes of the two young men Mamoun Badawi Idris Rashdan, 25, and Mohammad Ali Bassam Rashdan, 24, who were killed at the nearby Za’tara military roadblock, on Thursday afternoon.
Furthermore, armed paramilitary colonizers hurled rocks at citizens’ vehicles, causing damage near the town of Jamma’in south of Nablus.
In related news, Israeli settlers kidnapped a young man while he attempted to access his land in the village of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
Settlers abducted the young man Issa Maher Zayed while he tried to reach his land near a newly established colonial outpost, built on citizens’ lands.
