On Monday, an Israeli court denied an appeal against the demolition of a Palestinian in Beit Ta’mir village, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the appeal was filed by the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission and The Society of St. Yves – Catholic Center for Human Rights, asking to repeal a demolition order of Tahadi 5 Basic School in the village.

The Israeli occupation authorities issued a demolition order in the year 2017, and since then, the appeal was filed to stop the destruction, but the court refused to allow the renewal of the appeal application and affirmed the demolition during a hearing held last week.

It is worth mentioning that the army demolished the school several years ago before it was rebuilt in 2017 on land donated by local Palestinians who provided all legal documents and deeds proving ownership of the donated lands.
