On Saturday, Israeli forces opened fire at vehicles near Qalqilia and abducted a Palestinian young man near Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Media sources said that a large army force invaded, before dawn on Saturday, the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia, roaming several neighborhoods, while firing many live rounds at citizens’ vehicles; no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man, in the Thanaba suburb, east of Tulkarem, after storming his home.
Media sources said that Israeli forces stormed and ransacked the home of Mohammad Amjad Yahya, before abducting him at dawn Saturday.
In related news, occupation forces invaded the village of Jaba’, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, sparking protests from local Palestinians.
According to the Arab 48 News website, armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, and targeted their military vehicles with crude explosive devices, adding that Israeli soldiers sustained injuries.
