On Friday, Israeli forces invaded a number of West Bank towns and villages, attacking Palestinian non-violent demonstrators, invading and ransacking homes, and firing tear gas at residents, causing several people to be hospitalized from gas inhalation.
Among those injured were an infant girl in the village of Al-Rihiya, south of Hebron, who had to be hospitalized after suffering tear gas inhalation.
Press sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Rihiya with a number of military vehicles, and fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the citizens and their homes, which led to a number of them suffering from inhalation injuries, including an infant, who was transferred by ambulance to a nearby hospital, while the rest of the injured were treated in the field.
Also in al-Khalil (Hebron), the Israeli forces detained a number of Palestinians from their agricultural lands near the western entrance to Idhna town.
Also on Friday, in the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Yatma, south of Nablus.
The head of the village council of Yatma, Ahmad Sanobar, told reporters with the Wafa news agency that the Israeli occupation forces entered the village firing both live ammunition and tear gas. The invading army was met by some local youth, who threw stones at the armored vehicles. No gunshot wounds were reported, but a number of locals were treated for severe tear gas inhalation.
Israeli forces also invaded the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, and ransacked the home of Samer Hussein, who they had killed earlier on Friday when he allegedly carried out a shooting attack on a bus full of illegal Israeli colonizers near the “Ariel” settlement, built on expropriated Palestinian lands. In that attack, nine Israeli paramilitary settlers were wounded.
During the invasion of Hussein’s home in Einabus, the Israeli military abducted one of his relatives.
A Wafa correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village with several military vehicles, surrounded the house of the martyr Samer Hussein, and completely closed off the surrounding area, before raiding the house and arresting one of his relatives (whose identity is not yet known).
Later on Friday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarem from the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarem.
The Israeli armored vehicles and soldiers patrolled through the town of Anabta, specifically the southern mountain area, before heading to the neighboring town of Kafr al-Labad.
The Israeli occupation forces deployed infantry patrols in the middle of Kafr al-Labad, with troops stationed in the Old CIty and the vicinity of the village cemetery and castle, firing live ammunition at residents.
Earlier, the family of Tamer Fuqaha, who was killed by Israeli forces in May, reported that the Israeli occupation army had notified them of the demolition of their house, through a notice placed on the outside wall of their home.
According to the demolition order, the family needed to evacuate the home immediately, and they were given 72 hours to object before the army arrives with a US-made armored D9 Caterpillar bulldozer to destroy the home.
Faqha was killed on May 4 of this year, after the Israeli occupation forces surrounded the Badran family home in the town of Deir al-Ghusun, north of the governorate.
The house of the deceased Faqha is the second to be notified of home demolition, as the Israeli occupation forces informed the family of the detainee Muhammad Talal Abu Yassin last night of the demolition of their house in the town of Bal’a, east of the governorate.
Also Friday evening, the Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Sinjil town, north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the main entrance to the town, checked the identities of Palestinian drivers and passengers, and searched their vehicles, hindering their movement.
