On Friday, Israeli occupation soldiers have continued their assault on Jenin city, Jenin refugee camp for the 67th consecutive day, in addition to surrounded areas, accompanied by house demolitions, destruction of infrastructures, and the conversion of other homes into military centers.

At dawn, the Israeli forces abducted five residents from towns within the governorate. An undercover Israeli unit surrounded the home of Abdul-Karim Raba’iya in Meithalun town, south of Jenin, opened fire on him, and subsequently abducted him.

They also abducted Ammar Khader from the village of Anza after invading his home.

In Marka village, south of Jenin, Israeli forces abducted Walid Tawalba, Mahmoud Yasser Mousa, and Ahmad Jamil Mousa, after storming and ransacking their homes.

Media sources said there has been a notable rise in abductions within Jenin governorate, as the Israeli forces carry out near-daily abductions in the city as well as in its surrounding towns and villages.

The military has also deployed reinforcements accompanied by armored bulldozers to Jenin refugee camp.

The soldiers continue demolitions, widen streets, and create new roads within the camp to facilitate the advancement of large military vehicles.

The army also fired barrages of live rounds around the Jenin refugee camp while infantry units move within it, supported by intensive surveillance drone activity.

The number of displaced individuals from the refugee camp has reached 21,000, who are now seeking shelters in Jenin city and nearby villages.

According to a statement from the mayor of Jenin, 3,250 residential units in the refugee camp are no longer habitable due to destruction and fires caused during the ongoing Israeli assault.

This 67-day-long assault on Jenin and its refugee camp has resulted in 34 fatalities, dozens of injuries, hundreds of abductions, and invasions of homes, villages, and towns across the governorate.

The number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of this year is now 112; 49 in Jenin, 19 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 14 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 3 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 1 in Salfit, 1 in Ramallah, and 3 in Jerusalem.
