Updated: On Monday evening, Israeli occupation forces abducted five Palestinians, including a journalist and a young man whom they shot, during invasions in Hebron, Tubas, and Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the soldiers assaulted, injured, and abducted a young man after stopping him at a military roadblock near the main entrance of the Al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
The sources added that the soldiers fired live rounds at a young man near Nabi Younis area in Halhoul town, north of Hebron, wounding him before taking him to an unknown destination.
The soldiers also stopped and searched dozens of cars at the roadblock, interrogating many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Tubas, located in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Hayel, a young man from Aqaba town, after summoning him for interrogation at the Salem military base.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Beita town, south of the city, and abducted Ziad Daoud and photojournalist Wahhaj Bani Mufleh near Sbeih Mountain.
In related news, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the Khirbet At-Taweel community in Aqraba town, south of Nablus, where they assaulted several Palestinians and stole five horses.
