On Thursday, Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home in the village of Majdal Bani Fadel, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Rami Nassar, head of the village council, stated that Israeli bulldozers entered the southern entrance of the town and proceeded to demolish the home of Bilal Ali Othman, citing lack of construction permits as the reason.

Nassar noted that Israeli authorities had issued a demolition notice several months ago. The homeowner had filed an appeal with an Israeli court but was taken by surprise when forces stormed the property and began the demolition, despite the pending appeal.

During the month of April, Israeli occupation forces carried out 73 demolition attacks, affecting 152 structures—including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited residences, and 34 agricultural facilities. The demolitions were concentrated in Tubas (59 structures), Hebron (39 structures), and Jerusalem (17 structures).
