Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, on Monday morning.

Media sources said Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, invaded the northern area of the village and began demolishing the home of Ahmad Abdul Aziz Qadah, a single‑story structure built on half a dunum of land.

The army claimed the demolition was carried out under the pretext of building without a permit—an Israeli policy widely used to restrict Palestinian construction in Area C.

In a separate incident on Monday, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural structure in the Al‑Buwayra area east of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Local sources stated that the bulldozers destroyed a shed belonging to a member of the local Sultan family.

The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission reported that Israeli authorities carried out 538 demolition attacks across the occupied West Bank last year, destroying 1,400 Palestinian structures, including 304 inhabited homes, 74 uninhabited homes, 270 sources of livelihood, and 490 agricultural structures.

The demolitions were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron, occupied Jerusalem, Ramallah, Tubas, and Nablus.

These demolitions come amid an intensifying Israeli campaign targeting Palestinian homes, agricultural facilities, and privately owned land across the occupied West Bank, contributing to heightened tensions and further displacement of Palestinian families.
