Israeli occupation forces invaded Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, wounding a Palestinian teenager and forcibly shutting down the administrative offices of the Islamic Charitable Society for Orphan Care. The forces also abducted another young man in the nearby town of Bani Na’im.

The soldiers stormed the Hawouz al-Awwal neighborhood in Hebron, firing live ammunition, stun grenades, and toxic tear gas at residents.

Medical sources confirmed that a 17-year-old boy was shot in the thigh, and several other Palestinians suffered from gas inhalation. The injured teen was transferred by medics to the Red Crescent Hospital for treatment.

During the invasion, Israeli forces also stormed the Islamic Charitable Society, confiscating computers, orphan records, mobile phones, and cash. They then welded shut the main entrance to the facility.

Separately, the occupation forces arrested Nizar Hmeidat after invading Bani Na’im, southeast of Hebron.
