Israeli forces shot and killed, late Thursday night, a Palestinian young man and injured another in the town of Bala’a, northeast of Tulkarem, while soldiers shot a child in the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Before midnight on Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Bala’a, northeast of Tulkarem, stationed soldiers in the western neighborhood and the center of the town, sparking protests among local Palestinians.

Media sources said occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town and opened fire with live rounds at those who protested the incursion.

Soldiers shot two Palestinian young men with live ammunition, critically injuring the young man, Karim Raeq Abd al-Raouf E’mayyer, 23.

Ambulance crews transported the wounded young man to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem, where doctors announced that he had succumbed to his critical wounds.

Meanwhile, soldiers shot and injured a second young man, prevented ambulance crews and citizens from approaching him, and opened fire at citizens who attempted to assist.

It was added that during the military incursion, the army invaded the home of detainee, Mohammad Talal Abu Yassin, in the western neighborhood, took photographs of the home and interrogated its residents.

According to Palestine TV, the army took measurements of the detainee’s home, in a prelude for its demolition.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child with live ammunition after storming the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem.

Media sources said that the army invaded the town from its eastern entrance, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers opened fire with live rounds at citizens and shot a child in the thigh; he was subsequently transported to hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews.

Before dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child, Nour Nizar Shehabi, 17, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, after he allegedly attempted to stab a member of the Border Police.

Israeli forces shot and killed, before dawn Thursday, three Palestinian young men, and injured at least two others, in the city of Tulkarem.

The slain young men were identified as Ayman Ahmad Mubarak, 26, Hossam Imad Dabas, 22, and Mohammad Youssef Nasrallah, 27.

Israeli forces have killed 504 Palestinian civilians, including 125 children, while 20 Palestinians have been killed by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023.
