Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Ola, northwest of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday and demolished a large metal‑forming factory along with several surrounding industrial structures, causing massive financial losses to their Palestinian owners.
Local sources reported that military vehicles and bulldozers advanced an area west of the town and proceeded to level a major factory specializing in metal shaping, decorative ironwork, and the production of solar‑panel mounting systems.
The facility, owned by Palestinian citizen Murad Al‑‘Emla, is considered one of the largest of its kind in Palestine and was built on more than four dunams of land.
Residents said the soldiers carried out the demolition without prior warning, destroying machinery, equipment, storage units, offices, and multiple industrial installations.
They added that the scale of destruction prevented workers and the owner from salvaging any materials, resulting in losses estimated in the millions of dollars.
The occupation forces also demolished additional industrial structures in the same area, part of an ongoing pattern of targeting Palestinian economic infrastructure in Area C, where Israel systematically denies Palestinians construction permits while expanding illegal colonies.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al‑Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, and demolished a horse stable in the Coptic neighborhood.
Local residents stated that bulldozers, accompanied by soldiers, tore down the structure shortly after storming the area.
These demolitions come amid a broader escalation of Israeli attacks on Palestinian property across the occupied West Bank, including industrial zones, agricultural lands, and residential areas, as part of policies aimed at restricting Palestinian presence and development.
