The Israeli army, on Thursday, prevented the rehabilitation of a historical building in the Old City neighborhood of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.
Imad Hamdan, head of the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee, the body in charge of maintaining old buildings in Hebron, told WAFA that the army prevented the committee from continuing the rehabilitation of the Abu Asab building, without clarifying the reason behind this.
Hamdan said this was not the first time Israeli army prevents rehabilitation works in Old City Hebron.
