Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child and abducted two young men at dawn Friday after invading the city of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the city from its northern entrance, invaded several homes, a commercial shop, and a residential building, and deployed infantry units in the Kafr Saba neighborhood and “Street 22”.
During the incursion, Israeli soldiers opened fire with live rounds at citizens resulting in a child being shot in the thigh and abducted the two young men, Amir Nasoura and Ahmad Ibtali.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out a large-scale demolition operation in the Tulkarem refugee camp, in the city of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

The demolition campaign is a part of the Israeli plan to demolish 58 buildings in the Tulkarem refugee camp and 48 in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem.
In the Tulkarem camp, the targeted buildings consist of 250 housing units and dozens of commercial shops primarily in the Balawneh and Akasha neighborhoods.
Media sources added that powerful explosions were heard in the Nur Shams refugee camp, while columns of smoke were witnessed rising from the blast site; no details were available due to the tight siege imposed on the camp.
