Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian man with disabilities, on Saturday, in the town of Duma, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 29-year-old man with special needs to the hospital in Nablus, after he sustained live gunshot injuries to his abdomen and leg.
Media sources reported that occupation forces opened fire towards the young man with live ammunition, while he was at the entrance to Duma town.
They added that soldiers obstructed ambulance crews from approaching the wounded man, denying him immediate medical intervention.
In related news, the army stormed the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, injuring a number of citizens.
Occupation forces invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp on Saturday morning, and deployed at the entrance and on the Jerusalem-Hebron road, firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades, causing citizens to suffer inhalation injuries.
In the afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Silwad, Taybeh, and Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah.
