Media sources said that several military vehicles invaded Qabatiya town from its eastern entrance and positioned soldiers near the Jerusalem roundabout on the town’s main street, sparking protests.
Israeli forces stormed several buildings, deployed sharpshooters on the rooftops of tall buildings, while firing live rounds and tear gas canisters at citizens.
One young man sustained a live gunshot wound to the abdomen, and was subsequently transported to hospital in Jenin for treatment.
The soldiers invaded and ransacked the homes of Ahmed Kamil, Yazid Hussein Assaf, and Mahmoud Muhammad Adeeb Assaf, before abducting them.
Palestine TV released a social media video showing that armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.
It was added that Israeli forces stormed the central vegetable market in Qabatiya, forcing the workers to leave, and conducted a large search operation in the shops.
In the nearby village of Ash-Shuhada (Triangle of Martyrs), southwest of Jenin, and deployed an infantry unit near the café area, on the Jenin-Nablus road.
