On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian citizen with live rounds and abducted two others after searching their homes, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Media sources said that occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition, on Sunday morning at the western entrance of the city at the Farsh al-Hawa military roadblock, shooting a 58-year-old man in the leg.
He was transported to the hospital for medical treatment, while the army closed the military roadblock in both directions after the shooting.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, and stormed citizens’ homes, sparking protests among local Palestinians.
Media sources said that the army stormed and ransacked the homes of citizens, Abdul Samih Zamaara and Abdul Sami Al-Wawi, before abducting them.
During the ensuing confrontations, occupation forces opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens and their homes; no injuries were reported.
In related news, occupation forces invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, southwest of the city at the same time that school children were leaving their schools.
Quds News Network (QNN) reported that the Israeli army stormed the Al-Fawwar refugee camp causing fear and panic among dozens of children who were seen running away in terror.
