Israeli occupation forces shot and wounded two Palestinian youths before abducting them early Friday morning at the entrance to the town of Atara, north of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
The two were inside a vehicle passing near the Atara bridge when soldiers opened fire, injuring both before abducting them.
Palestinian medics rushed to the scene, but the soldiers had already removed the injured individuals. Their medical condition remains unknown.
Following the incident, Israeli forces sealed off all access points to Atara, blocking Palestinian vehicles and forcing residents to take long, circuitous routes to reach their destinations.
The closure disrupted daily life and highlighted the broader pattern of collective punishment and movement restrictions imposed by the occupation across the West Bank.
