On Thursday, Israeli forces shot four Palestinian young men, assaulted a disabled young man, and abducted eight citizens, during the prolonged incursion in the Tubas governorate, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Occupation forces shot four young men and abducted one, on Thursday, after besieging a citizen’s home in the town of Tammoun, southeast of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said their ambulance crews transported four young men to the hospital after they sustained live gunshot wounds to the legs, one of whom was bleeding heavily.

The PRCS added that Israeli soldiers obstructed the work of ambulances while transporting the injured young men.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, Israeli forces besieged a home in the town, detained and interrogated its residents, including women, and abducted the young man, Yazan Wael Ali Basharat, 25.

Meanwhile, in the city of Tubas, occupation forces detained a young man with disabilities during the continuous siege on the city.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the PPS in Tubas, said that Israeli soldiers detained the disabled young man, Moamen Nasser Saeed Daraghmeh, 18, from his home, before assaulting him and releasing him.

Furthermore, occupation forces abducted four Palestinian citizens, including a father and his two sons, on Thursday afternoon, during the sustained incursion in the city of Tubas.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, soldiers abducted the young man, Laith Muammar Daraghmeh, after invading his home and assaulting his family.

Odeh added that Israeli troops stormed the home of the citizen, Hussein Ahmad Yousef Daraghmeh and abducted him and his two sons, Jaafar and Ahmad.

Moreover, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinian citizens, including a father and son, in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, soldiers abducted the citizen, Marwan Saleh Nabrisi and his son, Osama, after breaking into their home in Al-Far’a camp, on Thursday morning.

Odeh added that Israeli troops abducted the young man, Ali Sobh, a resident of the Al-Far’a camp, while he was trying to pass through the Hamra military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.

In related news, Israeli forces fatally shot, on Thursday, a Palestinian man in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that before dawn on Thursday, an Israeli sniper shot and killed the citizen, Sufyan Jaber Fayez Abdul Jawad, 42, in the heart with live ammunition.

The Israeli army assassinated five Palestinians, on Wednesday morning, when an airstrike targeted them in the city of Tubas.

    The five slain young men were identified as:

    Tolba Mahmoud Jamil Bisharat, 18,

    Mohammad Sa’id Hussein Sawafta, 19,

    Majd Burhan Jamil Sawafta, 23,

    Qais Saeb Rateb Sawafta, 24, and

    Yassin Ahmad Ali Sawafta, 22.


It is important to mention that on Thursday evening, Israeli forces withdrew from the city of Tubas, the town of Tammoun, and the Al-Far’a refugee camp.

Media sources said that the army withdrew from the governorate after two days of besieging the city of Tubas, deploying infantry units and sharpshooters, and detaining citizens and occupying their homes to use as interrogation centers.

Sources added that at midnight on Wednesday/Thursday, the army stormed the Al-Far’a refugee camp and invaded many citizens’ homes, while bulldozers destroyed the camp’s infrastructure.

Over the two day period, occupation forces repeatedly stormed the town of Tammoun, breaking into many citizens’ homes.

In all areas of the governorate, an estimated 13 citizens were abducted, while others were detained and later released.
