On Tuesday, Day 78 of the army’s offensive against the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, occupation forces shot a young man with live ammunition and detonated a citizen’s home.

Media sources said that occupation forces present in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood of Jenin city, stormed several citizens’ homes on Tuesday afternoon, and opened fire with live rounds, shooting a young man.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a 25-year-old man was transported to hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the head.

Meanwhile, in the Jenin refugee camp, occupation forces detonated a citizen’s home, adding to the 600 homes that have been destroyed in the camp since the beginning of the ongoing assault on January 21, 2025.


The Quds News Network published satellite imagery revealing the army’s extensive destruction of Palestinian homes and infrastructure in the Jenin refugee camp over the past 78 days.


At least 21,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from the Jenin refugee camp since January 21, while the army has destroyed 600 homes and left 3000 housing units uninhabitable.

In related news, Israeli forces detained and brutally assaulted a Palestinian University student in the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers detained the young man, Izz al-Din Mukhalafa, a veterinary student at the An-Najah University in Tulkarem, on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources added that occupation forces detained and severely assaulted Mukhalafa near the Khadouri roundabout in the western neighborhood of Tulkarem city, and destroyed his cell phone, before releasing him.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) transported the wounded young man to the hospital for medical treatment.

For 72 consecutive days, Israeli forces have carried out an unprecedented military assault against the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp, while besieging the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of the city for 59 consecutive days.

Amid the ongoing siege and aggression, the occupation army continues to send in military reinforcements to the city and its two camps.

Media sources added that before dawn Tuesday, the sounds of explosions and gunfire could be heard, amid the invasion of citizens’ homes and destruction of vital infrastructure.

Since the beginning of the military onslaught, occupation forces have forcibly displaced 4000 Palestinian families from their homes in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, in addition to dozens of families in the northern neighborhood of the city.

In the Nur Shams and Tulkarem refugee camps, 396 homes have been completely destroyed, while 2573 have been partially destroyed.
