On Tuesday, Israeli special forces shot a Palestinian young man before kidnapping him in northern West Bank city of Nablus, while many others were assaulted and abducted.
Undercover Israeli soldiers “Musta’ribeen” infiltrated the Khallet al-Amud area of Nablus city, shot the young man, Mahmoud al-Banna with live ammunition, and kidnapped him. His condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
Meanwhile, southeast of Nablus, Israeli soldiers detained and assaulted several citizens at the Beit Furik military roadblock, forcing them off their bus; no arrests have been reported.
On Tuesday morning, undercover agents infiltrated the central area of Nablus city and besieged a citizen’s home, before reinforcements arrived.
The Arab 48 News website reported that special forces kidnapped the young man, Khalil al-Hanbali, after demanding over loudspeaker that he surrender to the army.
The same source said that the sounds of explosions were heard, while fire and smoke were seen in the house; occupation soldiers blocked Civil Defense crews and ambulances from approaching the area.
Also on Tuesday morning, the army invaded the eastern part of Nablus city and Balata al-Balad to the east, and abducted Izz al-Din Duweikat and Nour Duweikat after storming their homes.
Southeast of the city, Israeli forces abducted the three brothers, Rami, Nour, and Amir Muhammad Salman in Rujeib, after invading their home and forcing their family to evacuate.
In related news, occupation forces stormed Tubas city in the northeastern part of the West Bank, on Monday night, and abducted 25 Palestinian citizens from their homes.
Media sources said that a large army force stormed the city of Tubas, with sharpshooters and reconnaissance drones deployed, before reinforcements, including two bulldozers arrived.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, occupation forces abducted 25 citizens after breaking into and ransacking their homes.
Quds News Network reported that occupation bulldozers caused severe damage to streets and private property in the Al-Naqqar neighborhood of the city.
