Israeli forces shot, on Tuesday, two Palestinian young men with live ammunition, abducting two, including one of the wounded, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Media sources said that several occupation vehicles invaded the al-Masakin al-Sha’biya area, in the eastern part of Nablus city on Tuesday afternoon, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Sources added that the army opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, shooting a young man in the thigh with live ammunition; he was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.


In addition, occupation soldiers abducted the young man, Zaid Fatayer, while he was present in the area, before withdrawing from the city.

Meanwhile, on Monday morning, undercover Israeli agents surrounded the Odeh family home on Al-Taawun Street, and shot a young man before abducting him, in addition to assaulting an elderly man.

Media sources said that undercover agents (Musta’ribeen) besieged the Odeh family home, followed by reinforcements who shot the young man, Yazan Odeh with live rounds before abducting him; his condition was not known at the time of writing this report.


The Quds News Network reported that the army stormed and ransacked the young man’s home before abducting him while he was in critical condition.

Furthermore, while occupation forces stormed Al-Taawun Street, soldiers assaulted an 86-year-old man, causing injuries; Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews transported him to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus for treatment.

In related news, the army invaded the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, at dawn Tuesday, and stormed several citizens’ homes, according to the town’s Deputy Mayor, Abdul Rahman Abed; no arrests were reported.

Moreover, Israeli forces stormed the village of Osarin, southeast of Nablus, on Tuesday afternoon, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Media sources said that an infantry unit invaded the village and opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.

On Tuesday night, Israeli forces stormed the eastern part of Nablus city and near Joseph’s Tomb, accompanied by bulldozers, for the purpose of securing illegal colonizers’ incursion into the area.
