Israeli forces shot two Palestinian children, on Sunday afternoon, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin. The army also invaded the town of Bruqin, west of the city, and the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces opened fire with live rounds towards the two girls while they were walking home in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood, adjacent to the Jenin refugee camp.


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported two sisters, aged 12 and 16, to the Jenin Governmental Hospital for treatment for live gunshot wounds.

The PRCS added that both of the children were shot in the leg with live rounds while they were in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood in Jenin city.

Since January 21, 2025, Israeli forces have continued to besiege the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, in an unprecedented act of aggression.

Since the beginning of the year, occupation forces have killed 65 Palestinians in the Jenin governorate, demolished at least 600 civilians’ homes in the Jenin refugee camp, and forced the displacement of at least 22,000 residents.

Meanwhile Israeli forces stormed the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, on Sunday evening, and invaded a commercial shop.


Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Burqin, deployed infantry units in the streets, stormed and searched a commercial shop, and fired concussion grenades; no injuries or arrests were reported.

Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, on Sunday evening, forcing shop owners to close their businesses.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the village of Kufur Qaddoum from its main entrance, and deployed in several neighborhoods, forcing business owners to close their shops; no arrests or protests were reported.
