Palestinian medical and media sources reported that Israeli forces shot and injured two Palestinians, including a child, and abducted five others during predawn invasions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday.
The shootings occurred in Al-Amari refugee camp in Al-Bireh. Elsewhere, soldiers invaded towns and villages, broke into homes, closed a village entrance, and fired tear gas toward Palestinian vehicles.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated a 15-year-old boy who was shot in the back with live ammunition and a young man who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Media sources reported that, during the invasion of Al-Amari refugee camp, Israeli forces stormed and searched homes, before abducting Amir Shehab, 23, and Mohammed Fadi Khalaf, 25.
The sources added that Ahed Ibrahim Hamayel, 25, was abducted from his home in the town of Beitunia in the central West Bank.
Local sources said Israeli forces closed the western entrance to al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, fired tear gas canisters toward Palestinian vehicles, and temporarily detained several shepherds.
Furthermore, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, accompanied by Israeli forces, invaded the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
Colonizers also invaded the Al-Ka’abna Bedouin community near Taybeh, east of Ramallah, and assaulted Palestinian shepherds and the international solidarity activists accompanying them.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two young men from their homes during an invasion of the town of Sanur, bringing the reported number of abductions to five.
In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli military bulldozers continued uprooting vegetation and leveling Palestinian land in Al-Buqai’a Meadow.
Israeli invasions were also reported in Qalandia refugee camp and the town of al-Qubeiba near occupied Jerusalem; Bruqin, west of Salfit in the central West Bank; Beit Dajan and Salem, east of Nablus; Raba, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank; Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank; and Jericho in the eastern Jordan Valley.
