On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinian men and abducted them, in addition to two others in the town of Barta’a, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces, on Friday, invaded the town of Barta’a, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and confiscated several privately-owned vehicles, sparking protests.

They attacked and abducted Palestinian citizens in the town of Barta’a, which is situated on both sides of the apartheid separation and expansion wall, and is part of Israel and occupied Palestine.

Soldiers harassed citizens and shot two Palestinian young men with live rounds before abducting them, the conditions of the young men was not known at the time of writing this report.


According to Ghassan Qabha, the mayor of Barta’a, the army shot both Ramzi Ibrahim Qabha and Mustafa Wasfi Qabha in their legs, before abducting the two injured young men.

Qabha added that the soldiers also abducted Ahmed Mahmoud Qabha and Amer Ahmed Qabha.

He stated that since the start of the aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, occupation authorities have closed the Barta’a military roadblock in both directions every day from six in the evening until six in the morning, only allowing citizens to pass through on foot

Local Palestinians protested the incursion and soldiers continued to harass residents and block ambulances


In related news, at dawn Friday, Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Deir Abu Daif, east of Jenin, stormed commercial shops, and confiscated surveillance camera recordings.

The incursion sparked fierce protests among local Palestinians, while armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.


Israeli forces also invaded the village of Jalboun, east of the city and conducted a search campaign, without making any arrests.
