Israeli occupation forces intensified their violations across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, shooting and injuring a Palestinian worker near a military roadblock south of Hebron while carrying out multiple invasions, assaults, and abductions in several districts.

Israeli soldiers shot and injured a young man near the ath‑Thaheriya “Meitar” military roadblock south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers opened fire at Palestinian workers near the Annexation Wall close to the military roadblock, injuring one of them with live ammunition before he was transferred to hospital.

In a separate incident, four Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces sprayed pepper gas at them in the Wadi al‑Sharq area of the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medics treated four people who suffered injuries from the pepper‑spray assault and transported them to hospital.

Israeli forces also invaded the village of al‑Mughayyer, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, where soldiers detained two children in one of the neighborhoods after assaulting and abusing them. Residents said al‑Mughayyer and surrounding villages continue to face repeated invasions by Israeli forces.

Later in the evening, Israeli forces invaded several towns and villages across the Ramallah and al‑Bireh district, including Birzeit north of Ramallah, Beitunia to the west, and al‑Mughayyer to the northeast. No abductions were reported.

Israeli forces also invaded the city of al‑Bireh, near Ramallah, moving into the city center and the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood without conducting home invasions or making abductions.

In occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian man was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him north of the city. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medics received the injured man at the Qalandia military roadblock and transferred him to a hospital in Ramallah.

In addition, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock at the southern entrance to the town of al‑Khader, south of Bethlehem. Soldiers stopped vehicles, searched them, and inspected the ID cards of residents, causing a traffic jam in the area.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian man east of Nablus in the northern West Bank. Locals said soldiers invaded the eastern area of the city, fired concussion grenades and tear gas, and re‑abducted former prisoner Yazan Jabr after breaking into the location where he was receiving visitors in the village of Iraq at‑Tayeh, only two days after his release.

Earlier Saturday, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man in Khirbet Salama village, west of Doura town, southwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said the soldiers fired live rounds at Mohammad Ahmad Sweity, 25, after he reportedly approached an illegal Israeli colony built on Palestinian lands.
