For the 29th consecutive day, the Israeli military continues its offensive on the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camps, and for the 16th day on the Nur Shams refugee camp. This ongoing operation includes additional military reinforcements, home raids, and targeting of homes, buildings, and infrastructure.

The Israeli military has deployed additional reinforcements to the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps, “Tulkarem and Nur Shams.”

Infantry teams have been stationed in streets and alleys, continuing to invade, search, and vandalize homes, including empty residences that have been converted into military barracks.

The military has imposed a strict siege on both camps, restricting entry and exit and impeding relief teams from delivering essential supplies to residents remaining in their homes. Daily appeals are made for basic necessities such as food, water, medicine, and baby formulas.

Eyewitnesses reported that families still residing in their homes within the Tulkarem camp are located in the Al-Hadayda, Al-Hamam, Qaqoun, Abu Al-Foul, and Al-Rabay’a neighborhoods, as well as one family in the Schools neighborhood and another in the Dabbet Umm Jawhar area.

The majority are women, elderly, and children suffering from dire living conditions amidst the siege, destruction, and lack of essential services like electricity, water, and communications. They face significant difficulties in movement, exacerbating their hardship and endangering their lives.

In the Nur Shams refugee camp, the military continues to operate in several neighborhoods heavily affected by destruction, especially in the Al-Manshiyya, Al-Shuhada, Al-Jami’, and Al-Joura areas. Homes are raided, contents vandalized, and residents subjected to harsh interrogations and intimidation.

The Israeli military has also increased its presence with heavy machinery and bulldozers along Nablus Street, connecting the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.

This has particularly affected the surrounding residential buildings, converting them into military barracks, hindering vehicle movement, and subjecting them to inspections and passenger interrogations, and physical assaults.

Military vehicles have spread across the city’s streets, obstructing citizens and vehicle movement, while soldiers invaded shops in the southern neighborhood and detained shop owners for hours before releasing them.

The military also entered the Thannaba suburb east of the city, patrolling its neighborhoods, and conducting inspections at various intersections, with no reported abductions.

For the 17th consecutive day, the military has kept the Jabara checkpoint gate at the southern entrance of Tulkarem closed, isolating the city from nearby villages and towns, and the rest of the West Bank governorates.

According to the Shireen Observatory, Israeli forces have killed 88 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year, including 15 children, 4 women, and 2 elderly citizens.

The latest information reveals that 40 Palestinians have been killed in the Jenin governorate, while 18 have been killed in Tubas, 13 in Tulkarem, 9 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 2 in Bethlehem, and 1 in Jerusalem.
