On Tuesday evening, two Palestinians were injured, one of whom was later abducted by Israeli soldiers, after illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, backed by occupation troops, invaded Khallet ad-Dabe’ village in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank. The soldiers also abducted a university professor from her home in Doura town, southwest of Hebron, and a young man from Nablus.
Activist Osama Makhamra reported that paramilitary colonizers assaulted residents using batons and sharp objects, causing Suleiman Ali Dababsa to suffer a severe head wound, requiring urgent transfer to Yatta Governmental Hospital.
Makhamra added that Israeli forces, accompanying the assailing colonizers, blocked an ambulance attempting to transport Dababsa, seemingly intending to abduct him.
The soldiers also abducted two other Palestinians, identified as Jaber Dababsa (37 years old), who sustained a hand injury, and Mujahid Dababsa (30 years old).
Additionally, paramilitary colonizers invaded farmland, damaged fences, and cut down trees belonging to Palestinian residents in the same area.
Furthermore, paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian shepherds in the Tiwani village, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The colonizers hurled stoned at the shepherds and chased many of them near the illegal Havat Maon illegal colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands, before Israeli soldiers invaded the village.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded Askar Al-Jadid refugee camp, east of the city, before storming a barbershop and abducting a young man, Saber Jabroun.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded Al-Bireh city in the central West Bank on Tuesday evening, marking the third incursion since early morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli troops invaded Um Al-Sharayet neighborhood, leading to protests, though no injuries were reported.
Earlier in the day, Israeli forces invaded the city twice, deploying military vehicles throughout its streets. During these invasions, they abducted two young men, Nour Mohammad Rihan and Ahmad Shohait, after storming their homes in Al-Amari refugee camp.
Also Tuesday, Israeli soldiers conducted demolition and land-clearing attacks in Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
