Israeli soldiers abducted, Sunday evening, a former political prisoner from Nur Shams refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

Ibrahim Nimir, the head of the Tulkarem office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) Ibrahim Nimir said the soldiers stopped his son, Mohammad, 24, at the Ennab military roadblock, before abducting him.

He added that his son is a former political prisoner who was imprisoned by the army for three years.

Nimir also said that the soldiers stormed and ransacked his home last Thursday during a massive invasion of the refugee camp.
