Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, eight young Palestinian men in Bethlehem city in addition to the towns of Beit Fajjar and al-Khader, south, and west of the city, in the occupied West Bank, after the army broke into and searched several homes.
Local sources said several army jeeps invaded the Saff Street, in the center of Bethlehem city, before abducting Nasser Mohammad al-Wahsh, 25, from his home.
They added that the soldiers also invaded the al-Khader town, west of Bethlehem, and abducted Hazem Jom’a Salah, 46, from his home.
In Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes, before abducting Mohammad Ja’far Taqatqa, 23, Ibrahim Khaled Taqatqa, 17, Mohammad Mahmoud Taqatqa, 20, Ma’moun Akram Taqatqa, 19, Rabea’ Ala’ Taqatqa, 21, and Noureddin Jamal Taqatqa.
On Sunday evening, the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the chest while walking near the bridge area of Kharbatha al-Misbah village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
