On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded many areas across the occupied West Bank, broke into and ransacked dozens of homes, and abducted at least eight Palestinians, in addition to shooting and seriously wounding one.

The soldiers invaded the home of a journalist, Faisal Refa’ey, in Anata town, north of occupied Jerusalem, and handed his family an order summoning him for interrogation.

In Abu Dis town, southeast of Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted former political prisoner, Ismael Halabiyya, after storming his home and violently searching it.

In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded the home of former political prisoner, Mahmoud al-Fasfous, in Doura town south of Hebron city, but could not locate him and informed his family that he needed to “surrender military or be assassinated if he doesn’t.”

The soldiers also invaded and ransacked many homes in several neighborhoods in Doura before abducting former political prisoners, Nayef Rajoub, 64, and Ayman Salama Darabea’.

In Kharsa village, south of Hebron, the soldiers invaded and searched the home of former political prisoner Kamel Qtail, 31, before abducting him.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, Mohammad Ali Mosleh, 20, his father Ali Mosleh, 48, Mohammad Kathem Abu Ajamiyya, 21, and Haitham Mousa Abu Ajamiyya, 55, from their homes.

The refugee camp invasion led to protests before the soldiers shot a young man with live fire and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Palestinian medical sources at Beit Jala governmental hospital said the wounded young man suffered critical injuries after being shot in the chest before the bullet exited from his back, causing further damage.

Huwwara

In related news, the Israeli army continued the closure with sand mounds on many inner roads in Huwwara town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Furthermore, the soldiers closed two main junctions near Bethlehem and Salfit in the occupied West Bank, preventing the Palestinians from crossing.

On Tuesday evening, the soldiers invaded Bir Nibala town, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and confiscated a Palestinian car.

On Tuesday night, Israeli soldiers fired missiles into several areas in Beit Hanoun, attacked fishing boats in Khan Younis and Rafah, and abducted two Palestinians on their lands near the fence in the besieged Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday, illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted and injured three Palestinians in Huwwara town.
