On Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted eleven Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including a former political prisoner who held an extended hunger strike.
Media sources in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner who held an extended hunger strike protesting his arbitrary Administarytvie detention, Khader Adnan, from his home in Arraba town, Abdul-Latif Saber Khalifa from Ajjah village, and Khaled Walid Ghawadra, from Bir Al-Basha village, southwest of Jenin.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Amin Ali Thawabta, 21, and Khaled Mohammad Taqatqa, from their homes in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Essam Mousa Mawas, 23, from Bani Neim town, northeast of the city.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ibrahim Zobeidi from the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, while undercover Israeli soldiers, driving a car with Palestinian license plates, ambushed and kidnapped Bilal Barghouthi, 21, in Beit Rima town, north of Ramallah.
In occupied Jerusalem, the army abducted three Palestinians, who remained unidentified, and Daoud Bitar, from the Sa’diyya neighborhood in the Old City.
The soldiers also detained Ala’ Bheiss immediately after he was released from the Ramon Israeli prison after serving a prison sentence of 21 years.
