On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded various parts of the occupied West Bank, searched, and ransacked homes, and abducted at least 26 Palestinians, including two young women.
Media sources said the invasions occurred in various parts of the West Bank, especially in refugee camps, and added that the soldiers detained and interrogated scores of residents for several hours while inspecting their ID cards.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded various parts of the city in addition to the Askar Al-Jadid and Askar Al-Qadim refugee camps, before abducting at least fifteen Palestinians after ransacking their homes.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Samir Tarteer, Abu Abdul-Rahman Qatanani, Ahmad Qatanani, Jawad Kalbouna, Bassel Habboush, Atef Kharousha, Ezzeddin Ahmad Ghazzawi, Sharqawi Yousef Sharqawi, Mohannad Qamhiyya, Khaled and his brother Montaser Saqer, Mohammad Ahmad Shaweesh, Hani Shalabi, Sameh Ad-Deery, and a young female college student, Shaima’ Ahmad Rawajba.
The soldiers also invaded Madama town, south of Nablus, searched homes, and abducted Jubair Abdul-Hamid Dawabsha.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the invading military vehicles, including a Molotov cocktail that targeted one of their armored bulldozers.
In addition, the soldiers also invaded Kafr Malek town, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, searched dozens of homes, causing serious damage, and abducted a young woman Saja Zoheir Mu’addi, 25, in addition to Tha’er Ali Hamayel, 30, and Hotheifa Amjad Morra, 18, while in Beit Rima town, northwest of the city, they also abducted Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Asmar, 20, and Ahmad Jamil Az-Zibin, 40, from Al-Mazra’a Ash-Sharqiyah town, northeast of Ramallah.
In the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Zabbouba village, northwest of Jenin, and Arraba town, southwest of Jenin, and conducted extensive searches, while more vehicles were deployed around the village and the nearby Rommana village.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp, searched homes, and abducted a young man, Adam Rayyes.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded the Doura town, south of the city, and abducted a young man, Bara’ Yousef Masalma.
The soldiers caused damage to the home of former political prisoner, Shadi Al-‘Oweiwi, in Hebron, after storming the property and ransacking it, and also confiscated his car.
In related news, the army invaded Shu’fat refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar and Nahhalin towns, south and west of Bethlehem, searched homes, and abducted one Palestinian.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the two towns before the soldiers stormed and searched homes and abducted a former political prisoner, Mohammad Jihad Taqatqa, 28, from his home in Beit Fajjar.
The soldiers also abducted Mohammad Zawahra from Al-Karkafa area, in the center of Bethlehem city, Odia Nader Zawahra, from Al-Ma’sara village, south of Bethlehem, after storming and ransacking their homes.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, and conducted searches of homes.
Late on Wednesday night, the soldiers invaded Shu’fat refugee camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at Palestinians, protesting the invasion, and the surrounding homes.
The soldiers also invaded Zabbouba town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and were extensively deployed around the town, in addition to Rommana and the areas near the Al-Jalama and Salem military roadblocks, while the army’s armed drones continued to fly over various areas.
