Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, two Palestinians from their homes in Jerusalem and Tubas, in the occupied West Bank, and summoned six Palestinians, from Jenin, for interrogation.
In Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Shu’fat refugee camp, in the center of the occupied city, searched homes and abducted a young man, identified as Khalil Jaber.
Also in Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ahmad ‘Oweisat, from his home in Sheikh Sa’ad village, southeast of the city, after invading his home and searching it.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Tayaseer village, east of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, searched homes and abducted two young men.
Media sources in Tubas said the abducted Palestinians have been identified as Jom’a Khaled ‘Amer, 30, and Yazan Zahi Abu Ali, 18.
In addition, several army vehicles invaded the towns of al-Yamoun, Kafr Dan, al-‘Arqa and Sielet al-Harethiyya, searched many homes and summoned six Palestinians for interrogation at the Salem military base and security center.
The six Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Farouq ‘Aabed, 23, Ahmad Abdul-Jabbar ‘Aabed, 35, Zaki Saleh Mer’ey, 26, Ahmad Taher Nawahda, 30, Mofeed Bassam Abahra, 21, and Sameh Mohammad Sammar, 21.
Dozens of soldiers were also deployed around many villages and towns in the district, and installed several roadblocks, before stopping and searching dozens of cars.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, searched homes and abducted a Palestinian man, identified as Mohammad Taqatqa, 30, from his home. The soldiers also stormed and searched homes in a village and a town, near Jenin in northern West Bank.
