On Monday morning, undercover Israeli soldiers ambushed a car and fired many live rounds at it, killing two young men in Qalqilia, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.

The General Civil Affairs Committee of the Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot two Palestinians in the car, seriously wounding them, before detaining them and refusing to allow Palestinian medics to reach them.

The Committee added that the Palestinians, Ala’ Marwan Nazzal, 29, and Anas Yousef Daoud (Qaraqe), 20, succumbed to their wounds and that their bodies remained with the soldiers.

Nazzal was the leader of the Al-Aqsa Brigades in Qalqilia, and survived several previous assassination attempts.

The occupation army said it uncovered a rifle and a pistol from the car the two Palestinians were in before confiscating it.

The Israeli army also invaded many neighborhoods in Qalqilia, mainly the Al-Wad Street, Jaljulia Street, and Kafr Saba neighborhood, shot two young men who suffered moderate wounds, and abducted a young man.

Israel has killed 464 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of this year, including 256 since October 7.

Just before midnight, Sunday, the Israeli army fired missiles at dozens of Palestinians, mainly women and children, at the northern gate of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, causing numerous casualties.
