On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted Palestinian medics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in the village of Odala, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to the PRCS, the soldiers attacked its medics as they attempted to provide aid to wounded Palestinians in the area.

The incident occurred after the army invaded the village, sparking protests, before the soldiers fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas canisters, and assaulted medics performing their humanitarian duties.

In related developments, the Israeli army conducted operations in several other areas of the occupied West Bank.

In Al-Isawiya, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, soldiers closed multiple streets.

Meanwhile, in Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, the army fired tear gas and concussion grenades in the At-Tall area of the Old City.

Additionally, the army invaded Az-Zawiya, west of the central West Bank city of Salfit, where live rounds and concussion grenades were reportedly used.

In Shuqba, west of Ramallah, soldiers caused damage to several vehicles and fired tear gas canisters.
