On Monday, Israeli soldiers attacked many Palestinian detainees in Section 6 of the Ramon Israeli prison and conducted violent searches.
Hasan Abed-Rabbo, the media spokesperson of the Detainees’ Committee, said the undercover soldiers stormed the detainees’ rooms and violently searched them, and attacked the detainees.
Abed-Rabbo added that the soldiers conducted provocative searches of the detainees and assaulted many.
The official said the Israeli army and its undercover forces operating in the prisons and detention centers are constantly attacking the Palestinian political prisoners and imposing severe sanctions on them, including barring their families from visiting and forcing many into solitary confinement.
