On Friday, Israeli soldiers assaulted a young Palestinian man near the Gate of the Tribes, leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers stopped the young man while on his way to pray in Al-Aqsa and repeatedly attacked him while inspecting his ID cards.
They added that the soldiers abducted the young man and detained another while interrogating him and inspecting his ID card.
The army and the police placed dozens of roadblocks and deployed on all gates and alleys leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque ahead of Friday prayers at the holy site.
