Israeli soldiers attacked, Monday, Palestinian protesters at the northern entrance of the al-Biereh city, in central West Bank, causing several injuries, including a photojournalist.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot the photojournalist, identified as Yousef Shehada, with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the leg.
They added that several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation before receiving the needed treatment.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers deliberately targeted Palestinian journalists to force them away.
