On Saturday, Israeli soldiers shot a young man with live fire and twelve with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation near Abu Dis University, in Abu Dis town east of occupied Jerusalem. The army also abducted a young woman in Jerusalem.
The soldiers invaded the area, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters and surrounding homes.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot one Palestinian with live fire and twelve with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused 36 to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The PRCS added that one Palestinian suffered fracture, and eleven suffered burns due to Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades.
In Jerusalem’s Old City, the soldiers abducted a young Palestinian woman, Maram Dawabsha, from Al-Wad Street and took her to an interrogation facility.
