A Palestinian young man succumbed to serious gunshot wound to the heart at the Palestine Medical Complex, after resuscitation attempts failed.
The Ministry of Health announced that Ali Ibrahim Alqam, 32, died after Israeli forces shot him in the heart with live ammunition during their invasion of the Qalandia refugee camp.
According to medical sources with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the army shot 22 Palestinians with live rounds, including three who were deemed in serious condition, four with rubber-coated steel rounds, two sustained shrapnel injuries, and three sustained injuries as a result of assault by occupation soldiers.
It was added that dozens sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.
Media sources said that soldiers shot a Palestinian child in the leg with live rounds and used him as a human shield during the invasion.

On Monday, Israeli soldiers injured fifteen Palestinians, including four who suffered serious wounds, after the army invaded Qalandia refugee camp and Kafr Aqab town, north of the city.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said four Palestinians suffered serious gunshot wounds before the medics rushed them to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
It added that six Palestinians were shot with live fire, one suffered shrapnel wounds to the face and the chest, and one was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the eye.
The Health Ministry stated that three Palestinians suffered fractures and bruises after the soldiers beat them with batons, and assaulted them by kicking and punching them. Many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Sebastia town, northwest of the city, and destroyed an electric grid and other infrastructure.
It is worth mentioning that the army abducted at least 62 Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank at dawn and morning hours on Monday.
