On Friday, Israeli soldiers attacked the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and injured four Palestinians and one international peace activist.
The Palestinians marched from the center of the village, chanting against the ongoing illegal Israeli occupation, its illegal colonies, and the dangerously escalating violations.
The soldiers attacked the protesters with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot three Palestinians and one international solidarity activist with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.
