On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians who intercepted an attack by illegal Israeli colonizers in the Safa area in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local media activist, Mohammad Ayyad Awad, said the locals prevented a group of colonizers from attacking their homes.

He added that Israeli soldiers invaded the town and started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Awad stated that Palestinian medics rushed to the area and provided the needed treatment to the wounded.
