On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded a Palestinian stone and marble factory in Qarawat Bani Hassan town, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, and caused damage to its contents.

Ibrahim ‘Aasi, the Mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan, said the soldiers stormed the factory at the entrance to the town, causing damage, and added that the factory is owned by Yassin ‘Aasi.

Ibrahim also said that the soldiers violently searched the factory, and caused serious damage to its machines and supplies, before detaining Mohammad Rayyan and Khalil ‘Aasi.

The soldiers took the mobile phones of the two Palestinians and wrote “I love Israel” posts on their personal Facebook pages.

The invasion and violations are part of Israel’s serious escalation against the Palestinians, their homes, and properties in several parts of the occupied West Bank, especially in Area C, (60% of the occupied West Bank) under full Israeli military control.
